Overview

Job Title: Civil Drainage Design Engineer (Residential)

We are looking for a Civil Drainage Design Engineer with proven experience in residential developments, ranging from large-scale masterplans (up to 2000 units) to single-plot detailed design. The role involves using Site3D and Causeway Flow to deliver efficient, compliant, and sustainable drainage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Produce foul and surface water drainage designs from concept through to construction.
• Develop drainage strategies and detailed designs for residential schemes of all scales.
• Use Site3D and Causeway Flow for design, modeling, and drawings.
• Prepare design reports, calculations, and technical submissions for approval.
• Apply knowledge of SuDS and local authority/water company standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders.
• Provide design support and resolve site-related drainage issues during construction.

Requirements

• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in residential drainage design (large developments and single-plot).
• Proficiency in Site3D and Causeway Flow software.
• Strong understanding of drainage regulations, approval processes, and SuDS.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
