Civil Design Engineer

Location: Remote (Doncaster)
Salary: £34,000 – £50,000

Overview

Advance TRS is currently recruiting for a Design Engineer to join a growing and dynamic team delivering underground engineering projects. This role presents an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a few years of post-graduate structural design or geotechnical design experience, who is looking to develop their career within a specialist engineering environment.

Key Requirements
  • A relevant engineering degree in Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineering
  • A good working knowledge of UK design codes and standards and the ability to apply them to live projects
  • An understanding of National Highways & Network Rail approval processes
  • Experience of doing structural analysis or geotechnical analysis
  • Experience of using software such as Ansys, Robot, Etabs, SAP2000, STAAD PRO, Plaxis or GEO5
  • Several years of post‑grad experience in either structural or geotechnical design
