CAMHS Mental Health Support Worker Pay rate: from £15.68 an hour, weekly pay Reference: MHSW/Stafford/1. Are you a compassionate individual looking to make a difference in people’s lives? We’d like you to join us at Jane Lewis as a Mental Health Support Worker in Stafford. We are offering an exciting opportunity to support a range of young people and individuals aged 12‑17 with a diagnosed mental health condition and other varying needs.

You will be working within a range of settings including complex mental health rehabilitation and learning disability services.

Requirements:
  • Be over the age of 18 to apply
  • Have the right to work in the UK
  • Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sponsorship
  • Have 6 months prior experience in a children’s care setting (ideally CAMHS)
  • Previous Mental Health experience working with Hospital, ICU or PICU settings
  • Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
  • Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
  • Have a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector
