Children’s Support Worker – 1:1 Classroom Support (Full Time)
Location: Blackburn

Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential? Do you want to make a real difference in a young person’s life every day? We are looking for a dedicated Children’s Support Worker to join our welcoming school community in Blackburn.

About the Role:

We are seeking a caring, proactive and patient individual to provide 1:1 support for a pupil within a classroom setting. You will work closely with teaching staff to help the child engage in learning, develop confidence and achieve positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil during lessons and activities

  • Assist with learning tasks, communication and emotional regulation

  • Work collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff to implement support plans

  • Encourage independence, confidence and positive behaviour

  • Build strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff
