Are you someone who shines on night shifts, loves making a difference, and has a real passion for supporting children with complex needs? We’re looking for a Children’s Support Worker to join an amazing team in Caerphilly providing calm, consistent overnight care to a bright and joyful young girl.

This is a 2:1 package with a strong existing team in place, and we’re looking to welcome another fantastic Children’s Support Worker to support her through evenings, weekends, school holidays, and occasional waking nights.

At Nurslink Homecare, we’re all about helping people stay safe and happy in their own homes – but it doesn’t stop there. We’re big believers in supporting our team too. Whether you want to gain new qualifications, grow your skills in more complex care, or just find a role that feels rewarding day-to-day, we’ve got your back. If you’re looking for a place where you’re truly valued, this could be the one.

You do need a full driving license and access to your own vehicle to work as a Children’s Support Worker with us. This is because all our clients live in their own homes in the community.

About the Role

This young person loves Disney, music, and being out and about in her wheelchair. While she’s non-verbal, she’s expressive, playful, and recognises the people around her. You’ll be part of a rota that supports her throughout the year in a warm family environment. You’ll be supporting with:

  • Personal care and comfort
  • Managing PEG feeds and epilepsy care (full training provided)
  • Ensuring she’s settled and safe during sleep
  • Monitoring for seizures or changes overnight and alerting parents if needed
  • Light household duties as part of the evening routine
  • Being a calm, reliable presence during night shifts and transitions

This Children’s Support Worker role is perfect for someone confident in managing complex needs and working alongside a brilliant existing team. If you’ve worked night shifts before or have experience as a Children’s Support Worker with epilepsy, visual impairment or PEG training, you’ll fit right in. We’re looking for a Children’s Support Worker who can stay calm under pressure and bring warmth into every shift.

What We Offer
