A children's care provider is seeking a compassionate Children's Residential Support Worker in Kempston, UK. This temp-to-perm position requires at least 2 years of experience supporting children with emotional and behavioral difficulties (EBD) and an NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Pay : £12.21-£13.50p / h (Dependant on shift pattern)
Shift Patterns : 24.5hr | 14hr | 10hr Wake Night

We are recruiting dedicated Children’s Residential Support Workers for a warm and supportive 3-bed EBD home in Kempston (Bedford). The home provides care for children and young people aged 11-17 who have experienced extreme disadvantages, including trauma, mental health challenges, neglect, abuse, and placement breakdowns.
This is a temp-to-perm opportunity with genuine long-term career prospects in a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment.
Provide consistent care and emotional support to children with complex emotional and behavioural needs (EBD)
Promote a safe, nurturing environment to help young people thrive
Implement care plans and work closely with the wider staff and therapeutic team
Support with daily routines, activities, education, and independent living skills
Maintain accurate records and uphold safeguarding practices
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting children or young people with EBD or similar complex needs
Ideally hold a Level 3 NVQ / Diploma in Health & Social Care (Children & Young People) or equivalent (or working towards it)
Flexible availability to work a combination of the following shifts :
Strong understanding of safeguarding, behaviour management, and trauma-informed care
