A community healthcare provider in Kempston is seeking a compassionate Nursery Nurse to deliver family-centred care for children with complex needs. The role requires 24-hour availability, working closely with families and children in various settings. We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Nursery Nurse to join our team. Are you fun, caring, and eager to make a real difference in the lives of children and families? You will work alongside the Children’s Continuing Care Nurse to provide family‑centred nursing care for children with complex needs in the community. Care will be delivered across a range of settings, including homes and schools within the Bedford and Luton area.
The role involves providing care and support for individuals with complex needs on a 24‑hour basis, which includes both day and night duties as part of a rota system. Flexibility is essential to ensure continuous care and meet the needs of service users.

With the support of the children’s community care nurse provide high quality family centred nursing care for technology dependent children and children with complex needs in the community.
Care may be delivered in a range of settings appropriate to the children (e.g. school/home/respite unit) over the 24hr period.
The post holder will be required to work in partnership with children and young people with complex needs, their families, and the multi‑disciplinary team to enable the child to attain the optimum life experience.
