Job summary

A leading yacht recruitment company is currently seeking a Chief Engineer for a 40m+ yacht. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering operations and managing technical issues. Candidates must have Y2 equivalent or above qualifications and proven experience on yachts. Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills are essential. The position is based on a private vessel in Italy, starting ASAP with a competitive salary of EUR 7000 per month and 60 days leave.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily engineering operations and addressing any technical issues that may arise.

Requirements

• Y2 equivalent or above
• Proven experience in a similar role on yachts
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• AVIT/ETO knowledgea plus

Start date: ASAP

Location: Italy

Salary: EUR 7000

Leave: 60 days

Private vessel, single season based in the Med.
