A UK water authority is seeking a part-time Inorganic Chemistry Analyst to join its Water Quality team. You will perform routine and non-routine trace analysis using state-of-the-art instrumentation, maintaining data accurately and assisting in lab operations. Applicants must have a degree in Chemistry or a related scientific field, and the position offers a competitive salary and various benefits including a pension scheme, holidays, and flexible leave.
This is a part time role working weekends, usually 9am-5pm. You will work 16 hours a week.

As an Inorganic Chemistry Analyst, you'll be joining our Water Quality team to prepare and perform routine and non-routine trace analysis using state of the art analytical instrumentation. The role will also involve data interpretation, maintenance, organising workloads and assisting in the implementation of new methodologies.
We will encourage you to seek professional qualifications that will further your understanding and knowledge of Water Supply Regulations. As such, you will need a minimum of an NVQ Level 3 or above (or relevant academic qualification) in a scientific subject, to seek and eventually obtain full membership of the relevant professional body.
