Chef Manager - Chippenham

Salary: £33,372 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Chef Manager to lead a dynamic catering operation in Chippenham. This is a fantastic weekday role offering a great work-life balance, overseeing a varied and fast-paced service environment.

You will manage a team of 10 employees, with 9 direct reports, and take full ownership of the catering operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full catering operation, from food production and service to financial performance and front of house.
  • Lead, develop and motivate your team to deliver excellent service every day.
  • Manage food costs, margins, waste and labour with strong commercial awareness.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and guests, understanding their needs and consistently exceeding expectations.
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, health & safety and company standards at all times.
  • Drive consistency, quality and innovation across the kitchen and wider catering operation.
About You
  • Proven experience as a Chef Manager or Head Chef with strong operational expertise.
  • Passionate about fresh food, seasonal ingredients and high-quality service delivery.
  • An inspiring leader with great communication skills and positive energy.
  • Strong sense of ownership with the ability to manage and develop client relationships.
  • Financially astute, with a solid understanding of P&L, cost control and business KPIs.
  • Excellent people management skills - you lead by example and bring out the best in your team.
