This role calls for a chef who can blend maintaining excellent standards while working efficiently in a fast‑paced, trend‑setting, client‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure prompt and efficient preparation and service of all meals and hospitality to agreed standards.
- Lead the catering team, ensuring training, performance management and staff development.
- Manage the financial performance of catering services, including purchasing, stock control, gross profit, and labour costs.
- Maintain statutory and company standards of hygiene, health and safety across the catering unit.
- Support the Site Manager with site‑wide compliance, facilities management, audits, and reporting.
- Act as Deputy Site Manager, assuming responsibility in the Site Manager's absence.
- Develop and implement 4‑week menu cycles, promotions, and initiatives in line with Sodexo standards.
- Respond to customer feedback, enquiries and complaints with professionalism and a solutions focus.
- Build strong working relationships with client representatives, site teams, and suppliers.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and service development both within catering and across the wider site.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef Manager in a high volume setting.
- Professional cookery or culinary qualifications.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to prioritise tasks.
- Commitment to maintaining the highest food safety and hygiene standards.
