Ready for a fresh challenge? We have an exciting and rare opportunity for you to join our lively kitchen team at the world‑class University of Bath. We're looking for a talented Chef de Partie that's passionate about food and eager to bring creativity and skill to our menus.

Responsibilities
  • Take ownership of your section and lead by example.
  • Mentor and support junior kitchen staff.
  • Work alongside a team of six Chef de Parties, with guidance from our Sous Chefs and Head Chef.
  • Contribute your ideas to our ever‑evolving menus - we love fresh inspiration!
  • Deliver high standards every day through hard work and dependability.
  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with the kitchen brigade and wider catering team.
  • Handle challenges professionally and efficiently, staying calm and solutions‑focused.
  • Stay organised and positive during busy service times, thriving under pressure.
  • Prepare for the next shift and keep the kitchen running smoothly during quieter periods.

The role is full‑time on a 5‑over‑7 contract and includes early mornings, late evenings, and weekend shifts. You will be working in a vibrant, fast‑paced kitchen environment. The role is offered on a full‑time, permanent basis, 36.5 hours per week.
