Job summary

Butcombe Group is looking for a Chef De Partie to join its bustling kitchen team. You will be responsible for running a designated section, cooking high-quality dishes, and maintaining outstanding standards of food hygiene in a fast-paced environment.

You’ll collaborate with the Head Chef and kitchen colleagues, support stock control and documentation, and contribute to delivering an exceptional guest experience across our pubs and inns.

Qualifications

• Experience in busy kitchen environments.
• Ability to follow Head Chef direction.
• Commitment to high standards of food hygiene and safety.

Responsibilities

• Run a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring smooth day-to-day service and high standards.
• Prepare and cook high-quality, freshly produced dishes according to the menu and Head Chef direction.
• Deliver excellent food quality, presentation, and speed of service to exceed guest expectations.
• Support the wider kitchen team during service and step up when needed to ensure seamless operation.
• Manage your section’s performance, including portion control, stock rotation and waste minimisation for gross profit targets.
• Maintain exceptional standards of food hygiene, safety, cleanliness and personal presentation.
• Support stock management, ordering, and routine kitchen documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen team and follow company standards with a positive attitude.
