Job summary

Café Rouge is seeking a Chef de Partie to join our bustling kitchen. You will organise and deliver service for sections, work closely with the brigade to meet our specifications, and lead by example to nurture junior team members.

You will bring excellent knife skills and contribute to keeping the kitchen clean and safe while supporting a dynamic team in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced kitchen environments.
• Ability to work as part of a kitchen brigade and deliver to specifications.
• Strong knife skills and a lead-by-example mindset.

Responsibilities

• Organise, co-ordinate and deliver service for one or more sections in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Lead by example and develop junior team members.
• Ensure compliance with specifications and maintain cleanliness and safety.

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for:

• Organising, co-ordinating and delivering service for one or more sections in our fast, paced kitchens.


• Able to work well with the brigade to produce dishes in compliance with our specifications


• Able to lead by example, to nurture, lead and develop junior team members.


• Have excellent knife skills


• Clean down kitchens to ensure spotless working environments!
