Job Title: Chef de Partie
Location: St Albans
Salary: £26,000 - £29,000 per annum (depending on experience)

About the Role

We're currently recruiting an experienced Chef de Partie to join a well‑established kitchen team based in St Albans. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef looking to progress their career within a busy and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking fresh, high‑quality dishes to a consistent standard
• Supporting senior chefs during busy service periods and events
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment in line with hygiene regulations
• Assisting in stock control, prep lists, and ensuring section readiness

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Chef de Partie
• Must be able to drive (location not easily accessible by public transport) – may be required to work late nights
• Weekend availability essential – shifts typically start between 7:50 AM and 9:00 AM, finishing around 3:50 PM (may be later for events/functions)
• 40‑hour week over 5 days
• Flexibility for longer days during events or functions
• Strong cooking skills and a genuine passion for quality food
