Job summary

A leading training provider is seeking an apprenticeship Learning Coach to help learners succeed in their hospitality careers. You will work closely with learners in high-end environments, coaching them on the skills and knowledge required to meet apprenticeship standards. The ideal candidate should possess an NVQ at level 2 in Hospitality and extensive vocational experience in the sector. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coach learners on skills needed to achieve their apprenticeship.
  • Work with learners at their place of work.
  • Prepare and finish a range of seasonal dishes.

What will you be doing?

Working with learners at their place of work, in most cases for many of the UK’s best loved names within the industry, coaching learners on the knowledge skills and behaviours they need to achieve their apprenticeship standard.

What will you bring to the role?
  • NVQ at level 2 in Hospitality
  • Extensive, relevant vocational experience within a high‑end establishment (Head Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Partie)
  • Experience of preparing, cooking and finishing a substantial range of fresh and seasonal dishes
  • Experience in front of house and back of house rolesExperience preparing freshly cooked foods such as doughs, pasta, stocks, or sauces using a range of techniques, such as boning and filleting
  • Ability to work in high demand environments, to targets and tight deadlines
  • Strong communication and self‑motivation skills
  • Ability to working autonomously
It would be great if you had:
  • Minimum Level 3 Teaching qualification
  • NVQ level 2 or 3 in professional cookery
  • BTEC level 3 hospitality management
  • Experience of operating within WBL/education environment
