Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Chef to join our team working in Chertsey, Surrey, KT16 0PS.

You will be responsible for working collaboratively with the teams regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage, maintenance of food levels, food quality and brand standards.

You must have reliable transport due to the location of the site and limited public transport.

  • This is a full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday. Shifts ranging between 7am - 3pm.
  • The annual salary is £25,358.51.

A day in the life a Chef:

  • Preparing / cooking food items.
  • Assisting on food service.
  • Undertaking cleaning / receiving / storing of deliveries.
  • Reporting to the Head Chef, working with the teams regarding food production management to ensure minimal wastage, maintenance of food levels, food quality and brand standards.
  • Preparing food for our hospitality dining facilities and events.
  • Assisting with ordering and stock taking.
  • Learning procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
  • Undertaking relevant training as required.

You will be set up for success if you have:

  • Relevant culinary qualification.
  • Previous experience of working in a kitchen.
  • Certificate in food safety (or willing to obtain via our online e-learning).
  • Excellent team player and communicator.
