Marks Sattin Executive search is working with a well-established Founder led B2B and product-led services business on an impressive growth trajectory, delivering c.15% YoY. As the business moves into its next stage of expansion, it is seeking seasoned and strategic CFO to provide strategic financial leadership, partner with the executive team, and lead the business toward a successful exit event. Working closely with the founders and senior leadership team, the CFO will shape and execute the financial and commercial strategy, ensuring finance underpins both rapid growth and long-term value creation.

Responsibilities

Lead all financial operations including import and export, treasury and FX, governance and risk, and strategic pricing, combining strong commercial acumen with the ability to influence at board level and engage confidently with investors and advisors. Demonstrate a deep understanding of international supply chains, contract negotiation, and cost optimisation, while embedding commercial discipline and productivity across the organisation. Drive financial performance through advanced systems capability and emerging AI applications, ensuring decision‑making is data‑led and scalable.

Act as a key focus on M&A and exit preparation, including managing advisors, developing a credible three‑year business and financial plan, and creating a compelling equity and value creation story. Ensure gold‑standard reporting, codification of systems and processes for efficiency, identify a normalised cost base to enhance profitability, and lead vendor due diligence across commercial, financial, and ESG areas.

Qualifications
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or ACMA).
  • Proven experience as a CFO or senior finance leader in a high‑growth, PE‑backed, or Founder‑led business, ideally within B2B or product‑led sectors.
  • Demonstrated success in driving growth, executing M&A, and leading businesses through exit events.
  • Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with credibility at board and investor level.
  • Confident, collaborative leader who enhances culture, capability, and performance.
