Overall Purpose

Smooth running of the control room, monitoring of CCTV and various other systems located within the control room. Management of contractors, the control of vehicle movement in and out of service areas. Providing direction, guidance and support to other employees, ensuring a professional service to all internal and external customers.

Candidate Profile
  • Excellent communication skills essential, both written and oral
  • Experience in working within a team as well as on you own
  • Front Line SIA licence – Door Supervision (Essential)
  • Computer literate, knowledge of Microsoft office
  • CCTV SIA Licence (Essential)
  • First Aid Certificate (Preferable)
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to operate in a pressurised environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Demonstrable proactive and professional approach to security
Job Specification

Rate: £12.90

Shift Start: 1900

Shift Finish: 0700

Breaks: 3x 30 minute breaks to be taken when operationally suitable.

Rotation: 4 Days on 4 Days off

What is expected of the controller during the shift is as follows:
  • Monitor CCTV
  • Monitor the fire system
  • Monitor the Car Park System
  • Monitor BMS
  • Answer incoming calls (Internal & External)
  • Ensuring all documentation is kept up to date
  • Incident Management
  • Use of Radio Systems
  • Signing in contractors and visitors to site
