A forward-thinking educational organization is looking for a Catering Manager to oversee commercial catering and retail outlets in Beverley, Bridlington, and Scarborough. The role involves providing leadership and ensuring that each unit meets its commercial targets while developing new income streams. Candidates should have over 5 years of experience in catering management and be adept at managing teams. This position offers a competitive salary package and various employee benefits.
Catering Manager North Bank (25/465)
Salary: £34,031 FTE (£28,098.57 pro rata per annum)
Hours: 37 hrs per week, 36 weeks per year
Fixed Term maternity cover until 6th February 2027, or upon return of the substantive post holder
Location: To be determined by successful applicant (Beverley, Bridlington or Scarborough)
Scarborough TEC and East Riding College are part of the TEC Partnership, which is a large, innovative, dynamic and financially sound organisation.
As a Catering Manager for our North of the Humber sites, you will provide leadership and management direction to the Group's North Banks commercial catering and retail outlets, with locations in Beverley, Bridlington and Scarborough so that the commercial performance of each unit is maximised with budgeted revenue and contribution targets are met or exceeded including the development across all settings of new event-based income streams to better utilise our campuses with wider communities.
The successful candidate will have more than five years’ experience in either food and beverage operations or catering management whilst being able to manage a team of at least 10 people.
Qualifications in Catering and/or Hospitality are desirable, but knowledge of management and operations is essential whilst being able to multitask in a cross-site role.
