Catering Assistant 2 days per week – Newcastle upon Tyne, England

Salary: £12.00 an hour rising to £13.20 April 25

Hours: 9 hours per week, 11.30am – 3.30pm including break

Job Description

• Assist in the preparation and presentation of food items for catering events.
• Help set up and dismantle catering displays, ensuring all items are presented attractively.
• Provide support during events by serving food and beverages to guests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work areas, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Collaborate with the catering team to ensure timely delivery of services.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed.
• Engage with clients and guests in a friendly manner, addressing any questions or concerns.
