Job summary

A global insurance firm is seeking a leader for its Catastrophe and Exposure Management Team in Greater London. This role focuses on catastrophe modelling, working with multiple classes of insurance while managing analytical services. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in catastrophe modelling leadership and regulatory reporting, along with strong IT skills. Qualifications

  • Proven leadership in catastrophe modelling with line management experience.
  • Experience in Marine & Energy classes, Property D&F knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of industry models and regulatory reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the NatCat exposure management team for specified classes.
  • Build relationships with divisional underwriters and manage services.
  • Deliver portfolio analysis and reporting.

Skills

Proven catastrophe modelling leadership experience
Experience working across multiple classes
Proven experience with catastrophe management best practices
Experienced user of industry standard models
Proven experience with regulatory reporting
Excellent IT skills with strong knowledge of SQL
Experience building and maintaining relationships
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
