Job description

Salary: £26.07 - £29.72 per hour, depending on qualifications.
Grade TUTLEC 1 - 4 depending on teaching qualifications and experience.

Permanent Contract.
Hours per week variable (as & when required) and subject to demand.

Job Overview

We are seeking engaging and committed individuals to join us as casual tutors to teach Bookkeeping at Levels 1, 2 & 3; you don't need to be able to teach all levels and we ask you to specify any preference within your supporting statement.
You will be passionate about your subject and have previous and relevant industry experience and be keen to inspire our learners.
This role is an exciting opportunity to support Thurrock residents with developing their skills and confidence in a subject of interest to them in their everyday life and work.

Responsibilities
  • Plan courses and lessons, create resources, teach lessons and mark learners work and give developmental feedback.
Qualifications
  • Level 2 qualifications in English and maths, ideally a level 3 award in Education and Training.
  • Required qualification or experience within any subject you wish to teach.
  • Experience of teaching adults desirable.
  • DBS Check: At Enhanced Level with Children's Barred list required.
