A local educational institution is looking for a Casual Teaching Assistant to help support children and young adults in a special school environment. The role is flexible and will involve covering staff absences and supporting professional development courses. Candidates should have experience working with children and a sound knowledge of child development. This is an important opportunity to contribute positively to the educational journey of young individuals in the community.
Job Title: Casual Teaching Assistant
Salary: £15.40 per hour
Hours: As and when required
Location: Wyre Forest School
An exciting opportunity has arisen to help shape the future within this fully generic all‑age special school.
The role will be on a casual basis as and when required to cover staff absence and CPD courses.
It is preferable that candidates will have recent practical experience of working with children in a learning context, and ideally with children or young adults with SEN. They should also have a sound working knowledge of child development.
