This role is hands on, working to deliver a great experience for visitors. The successful applicant will be a team player who enjoys working with people of all ages and backgrounds and is committed to making history, arts and culture accessible to a wide audience. We are looking for someone to take responsibility for birthday party delivery, so you'll love working with groups of young children and their families to deliver a memorable, fun birthday party alongside general gallery duties and other events delivery. We currently run our birthday parties on Saturday afternoons. There will be training to help you and opportunities to practice before going solo.
The successful candidate will have experience of working with children and families, be positive, calm and confident in any situation and able to tackle the occasional challenges that can happen in a birthday party or at a busy event.
