Job summary

Seetec’s CFO Evolution programme is seeking a dedicated Support Worker (Peripatetic) in Exeter to manage caseloads across custody and community settings, delivering assessments, tailored interventions and pre-release planning to support reintegration and reduce reoffending.

You will work with peer mentors, travel across the South West region, and engage with housing, substance misuse and health services, with a fixed-term contract to December 2028 and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel across the cluster/region and work in both custody and community settings.
• Ability to manage a caseload and coordinate risk in safeguarding contexts.
• Experience engaging with stakeholders and delivering interventions for complex needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload across custody and community settings.
• Deliver pre-release work, assessments and tailored action plans.
• Provide one-to-one and group interventions to support reintegration.
• Record participant data accurately to meet contractual and financial requirements.
• Meet individual and team performance targets.
• Coordinate risk management and safeguarding for adults and children.
