We are seeking skilled Carpenters to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a keen eye for detail. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will work on a variety of projects, including residential and commercial builds, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

• Construct, install, and repair structures such as roofs, frameworks, and cabinetry.
• Perform joinery work to create strong joints between different pieces of wood or materials.
• Use hand tools and power tools effectively to fabricate components as required.
• Carry out masonry tasks when needed, ensuring proper alignment and stability.
• Measure, cut, and shape wood, plastic, and other materials with precision.
• Ensure all work is plumb and level by using appropriate measuring instruments.
• Assist in painting and finishing surfaces to achieve desired aesthetics.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on-site, including electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project execution.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment by adhering to health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry.
• Proficient in using hand tools (e.g., chisels, saws) and power tools (e.g., drills, sanders).
• Strong understanding of joinery techniques and carpentry principles.
• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
• Knowledge of masonry work is an advantage but not essential.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
