A community-focused organization in Lindhurst, England seeks dedicated individuals to support learners with personal care and health needs. The role involves administering medication and liaising with external agencies. Candidates should have a Level 2 NVQ in Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards it, alongside a commitment to safeguarding and promoting wellbeing.
A day in this varied role could include providing support with eating and drinking; administering medication; providing personal care; and liaising with external agencies, such as parents/carers and care providers. We have a variety of residential services including Independent Living, Short Breaks and FE Residential, and you will work across all of them. Our residential areas are based on a woodland campus in the heart of Sherwood Forest, close to Mansfield which includes a fully accessible climbing wall and zip wire that many of our learners and citizens enjoy using. As this role involves regulated activity with our learners, we will be required to carry out a full enhanced DBS check with child and adult barred lists.
