Job description
Overview

Location: Cherrywood Project – Elderslie, Paisley, Scotland. Salary: £24,897.60 per annum. Contract: Full time, Permanent – 38 hours per week. Three positions available.

The Cherrywood Project is a 9-bedded service supporting individuals with profound needs and autism. The team works across two bungalows, providing a supportive and welcoming environment.

What you’ll do
  • Support individuals with profound needs and autism who live at Cherrywood, helping them feel comfortable and involved.
  • Provide personal care as required and participate in activities such as pamper sessions, music, aromatherapy, baking, and meals support.
  • Engage with residents to chat, listen, and build trusting relationships; be patient and spend time with residents to support their wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with experienced staff; participate in training and development to meet required standards.
Requirements / Qualifications
  • No prior experience required; training will be provided. You will work with experienced staff and will be supported to develop relevant qualifications as needed, in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Appointments are subject to satisfactory membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, SSSC registration, and appropriate safer recruitment checks.
