Job description

We are recruiting on behalf of our service user for a Care Assistant to support a gentleman. The role involves providing reliable, caring, and trustworthy one to one support to help maintain independence at home and improve quality of life. The gentleman has interests including football, golf, pool, antiques, and quizzes, so a friendly, engaging, and respectful approach is essential. Work schedule is on Saturdays from 10.00am to 12.30pm and Sundays from 10.00am to 12.30pm. This role offers consistent weekend hours and the opportunity to provide meaningful and rewarding support.

Responsibilities

• Duties include personal care such as showering and changing a colostomy bag, assistance with dressing, light cooking, light household cleaning, washing clothes, and general support as required.

Skills and Qualifications

• Previous Care Assistant experience of at least 1 year is preferred, along with a clean full UK driving licence and access to your own car, and the ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
