Overview

Care Assistant for a gentleman in Billingham. Part-time role at £12.21/hr. PA to support with evening and weekend calls and holiday cover. Shifts: one hour morning call on Saturdays and Sundays and a 30-minute tea call on Thursdays and Fridays. The client’s working hours and schedule are changeable; the PA must be flexible and adaptable.

Duties include – support with getting up and transferring out of bed; transferring and assisting with getting ready and showering; assisting with morning routine such as getting a coffee and washing up. Also support with cooking and serving the evening meal and washing up and tidying up.

The ideal candidate would be friendly, open-minded with versatility in relation to schedule, and have a person-centred approach sensitive to the client’s preferences. Previous experience with supporting independence would be an advantage but not essential. Training will be provided. Client is open to any questions about the role.
