Overview

Earn up to £16.24 per hour working as an experienced Care Assistant. You will be covering day shifts at a care home in the Matlock area which caters for up to 32 adult residents with a variety of health conditions including learning disabilities, dementia, and sensory impairments.

The home prides itself on the care that it provides to the residents, and we are looking for people who have an outgoing and bubbly personality with the ability to communicate clearly with both residents and other staff.

Responsibilities
  • Following personalised care plans
  • Conduct personal care
  • Take part in activities
  • Assist with the moving and handling of residents
  • Other care related duties
Requirements
  • An existing DBS certificate registered on the update service
  • A Referenceable work history
  • At least 2 years experience within a similar setting
  • Must be able to reliably commute to Matlock either via public transport or with your own transport arrangements

  • This role offers immediate start opportunities with ongoing work offering part time or full-time hours
  • We have full time and part time opportunities available with typical hours being: 07:00 to 14:15, 14:00 to 22:00
  • Hours are available throughout the week
  • You will be paid £12.21 per hour, increasing to £13.33 after 13 weeks, hours worked after 19:00 are paid at the enhanced rate of £16.24 per hour
