Care Assistant

Are you a passionate Care Assistant looking for your next role? 4Recruitment Services are currently recruiting for a Care Assistant to work in a service based in Wakefield.

Pay Rates : £13.26 - £16.15 Umbrella Rate

Information the Role : Successful candidates will be offered shifts on an Ad Hoc basis.

What you will be doing :
  • Accountable to all members of the Management Team or senior staff on duty at all times of the working shift.
  • To enable the service users in the unit to maintain or regain their independence, individuality and dignity.
  • To offer support in the maintenance of an individual's physical needs relating to washing, bathing, dressing, continence, feeding and mobility.
  • To appreciate the emotional needs of older people, particularly recognising the importance of clearly communicating with them when giving care and attention.
  • To offer recreation and stimulation to service users, if appropriate.
  • To have concern for the total care environment including some domestic aspects which arise during the course of the day / night.
  • To be aware of fire and other safety precautions in the unit and to respond in the event of a fire or other emergency.
