Overview

Care Assistant role at HC-One. Working under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, you’ll support the physical, emotional and social wellbeing of residents in our Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist care homes. Responsibilities include personal care (washing, dressing, hygiene and meals) and helping with daily activities to support residents’ dignity and individuality. Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility and training is required for the role.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care and support with daily activities to ensure residents’ dignity and individuality.
  • Support residents’ physical, emotional and social wellbeing.
  • Assist with meals and personal hygiene as part of daily routines.
  • Recognise safeguarding signs and know how to respond, including escalation if needed; attend safeguarding training and additional role-appropriate training.
  • Engage with digital care planning initiatives and adapt to technology as needed.
