Overview

An exciting job opportunity for a committed Support Worker in a care home located in the Woolverstone, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading healthcare providers. This care home supports residents to go about their daily lives and works with Dementia Care Matters to improve the quality of life for people living with dementia.

To be considered for this position you must have an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

Responsibilities
  • Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents
  • Assist with daily tasks, including all personal care such as personal hygiene, daily activities, outings, and companionship
  • Encourage independence, wellbeing and support vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities
  • Ensure accurate record keeping at all times
Skills and Experience (preferred)
  • Have a genuine desire to care for others
  • A good team player
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven experience of working in a care setting
Salary and Shifts

The successful Support Worker will receive an excellent salary of £12.60 per hour, equating to an annual salary of £23,587.20. We currently have permanent vacancies for both day and night shifts available.
