A care service provider is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Eastbourne. The role involves managing medication, updating care plans, and mentoring staff while ensuring the highest level of resident care. Full-time positions are available for both days and nights, averaging 42 hours weekly, with an hourly rate of £14.85 for day shifts and £15.25 for night shifts. Candidates must hold an NVQ Level 2 and be experienced care professionals committed to delivering excellent personal care.
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will have a high level of responsibility which will include managing and administering medication, reviewing and updating resident care plans, as well as mentoring less experienced staff, whilst leading by example as an integral part of the Care Team. This is a busy role where the highest level of care must be delivered to ensure our resident's needs are met. To provide the highest level of personal care and attention to residents, following individual care plans carefully and ensuring that all contact is polite, friendly, warm and supportive. To act as a key worker for a named group of residents, ensuring that these responsibilities are carried out in full (as defined in the training manual).
