A leading community healthcare provider in Darwen is looking for a Complex Care Assistant. In this role, you'll support clients with conditions such as spinal cord injury and muscular dystrophy in their homes. While experience in care isn’t required, compassion and resilience are crucial, as you will receive full nurse-led training. This position offers a varied and rewarding environment where you can truly make a difference in clients' lives.
Shifts Available: Waking NIghts Sun - Thu 9pm to 7am

This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy, ventilation, seizure management, and stoma care plus so much more! We care for and support people of all ages, in the community, and in their homes, with Spinal Cord injury, Muscular dystrophy, acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And you’ll never know what challenges you’re about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though, is that you’ll be making your clients’ days brighter, whilst developing your skills and knowledge.
Our paediatric client needs support to live in their own home due to a congenital condition, you will help manage their Ventilator, PEG feeds, medication and mobility, support them to be independent where possible and interact with rest of their family members.
What you'll need
Experience in care is not a requirement for this position. Just plenty of care, compassion and resilience, as we provide full nurse-led training.
