Job description

You'll be working alongside a passionate and supportive team dedicated to enhancing the lives of our residents, keeping them engaged, active, and enjoying life every day. Whether you're providing direct support with personal care and physical well‑being, or helping to maintain high standards of cleanliness across our home, your contribution will make a genuine difference. Based at Compton Lodge in Swiss Cottage, Camden (London), we're looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join our team. We offer flexible shifts, including opportunities to support our busiest times, and are currently expanding our team of Casual Care Assistants, as well as Permanent Day and Night Care Assistants.

We are committed to our colleagues' learning, development, and career progression. We support Care colleagues in achieving their Care Certificates if required, empowering them to deliver the best dementia care and support to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support with personal care and physical well‑being of residents.
• Assist with maintaining high standards of cleanliness across the home.
• Engage residents in activities and support their overall engagement and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills
• Compassionate and patient attitude
• Ideally some experience in a caring industry such as hospitality or schools
• Pass DBS check
• Preferably previous experience in a care environment, providing personal care or knowledge of dementia
