Job summary

A local care provider in Antrim seeks Community Care Assistants to offer support and care to vulnerable adults in their homes. Responsibilities include ensuring physical and emotional wellbeing, assisting with daily activities, and providing companionship. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Prepare meals for clients.
  • Provide companionship and engaging conversation.
  • Perform light household duties.
  • Accompany clients on social outings.

Responsibilities

  • Support independence with dignity and respect.
  • Assisting with dressing, bathing, toileting, and mobility support.
  • Meal preparation.
  • Provide much needed company and and engaging conversation.
  • Light household duties.
  • Social outings, go for a cuppa and a walk around the shops.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Driver with access to own car.
  • Previous experience working as a Care Assistant (not essential as full training will be provided)
  • A non judgemental approach to care.
  • Patience (you may have to listen to the same story numerous times).
Further Information
