Overview

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalised care to clients, ensuring their comfort and dignity at all times.
  • Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration.
  • Develop and implement care plans tailored to individual needs, focusing on dementia care and other specific requirements.
  • Monitor and report changes in clients’ health or behaviour to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and physical well‑being.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any observations made during shifts.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure a cohesive approach to client care.
Experience
  • Previous experience in a support worker or similar role is desirable but not essential; training will be provided.
  • Knowledge of patient care techniques and best practices in senior care settings is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with dementia care principles and behaviour management strategies is preferred.
  • A caring attitude and the ability to empathise with clients from diverse backgrounds are essential qualities for this role.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with clients and team members alike.
  • Ideally drive and have access to a car, walkers will be considered.
