Care Support Worker

Salary :

£12.40 per hour + paid travel time and mileage

Candlelight Care is looking for enthusiastic, caring, and dependable individuals to join our dedicated and friendly, family-run team. You'll be supporting vulnerable adults in the comfort of their own homes across Wimborne and the surrounding areas. We currently have opportunities for both full-time and part-time Care Support Workers. Typical shift patterns run from 7am-2pm and / or 4pm-10pm. We also ask for a commitment to working alternate weekends. Driving is not always essential, depending on location.

Key Responsibilities of a Care Support Worker :

No two days are the same in Health and Social Care. You'll build relationships with your clients, understanding their interests and needs. You'll provide emotional and practical support, assist with personal care (washing, toileting, dressing), carry out domestic tasks and prepare meals - all tailored to each individual's requirements.

You'll also assist with medication, mobility aids, and personal equipment where needed, and report any significant changes in a client's health or circumstances to the Registered Manager.
