Job summary

Prestige is seeking an experienced Service Advisor in Tonbridge to join a Motor Trade main dealer group. The role is permanent/full-time with hours Mon-Fri 8-6 and 1 in 3 Saturdays, offering a car after 6 months, a pension, and 28 days annual leave. Duties include advising on technical issues, booking work, communicating progress, and invoicing.

A 1-year dealership background and strong interpersonal skills are essential. Salary is £30k-£34k basic with OTE £41k.

Qualifications

Proven experience working in a dealership as a Service Advisor (1 year minimum).
Pinnacle DMS knowledge is desirable, but not essential.
Technical skills and experience are essential.
Well-presented with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
Ability to build rapport and create lasting relationships with customers (which lead to loyalty and referrals).
Excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

Advise on technical queries or issues.
Deal with customers in a professional, prompt and courteous manner, giving a positive first impression of the service department.
Book vehicles into the department for work to be carried out.
Inform customers of the progress of their vehicle.
Cross-sell customer repairs and parts.
Finalise the invoice on completion of required work.
