Job summary

Jago Consultants’ client, a franchised car dealership in Reading, is recruiting a hands-on Sales Manager to lead a small team and drive sales at a busy site.

You will report to the Brand Director, coach two Sales Executives, oversee F&I activities, manage enquiries, and maintain accurate records to review performance against targets.

A valid driving license is required; previous experience as Sales Controller/Business Manager is ideal, with a strong customer focus and a drive to succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience of working as Sales Controller, Business Manager or Transaction Manager is ideal.
• Good working knowledge of Kerridge or an equivalent DO training will be provided to build on your system knowledge and comply with FSA regulation.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
• Positive, customer-focused attitude and approach to work.
• Proven experience in selling, finance, invoicing, managing accounts, staff management and administrative duties.
• Valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Report to the Brand Director and coordinate the daily activities of the Sales Executives.
• Provide support, coaching and assistance to maximise sales volume and profitability, primarily responsible for achieving chassis and F&I KPI’s.
• Oversee all aspects of the F&I functions to maximise sales profitability.
• Oversee the enquiry management process.
• Promote the professional image of the dealership and maintain customer satisfaction standards.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for vehicle sales and finance transactions to facilitate reviews of performance against targets.
• Involve in vehicle part-exchange appraisals/valuations, controlling and sales deals.

Job description

Our client is a franchised car dealership, who are now seeking to recruit a Sales Manager for their busy site.

This is a hands-on position, working within a small and busy dealership in Reading. You will be overseeing the daily activities of 2x Sales Executives, and could be a great opportunity for an existing Business Manager / Transaction Manager / Sales Controller / Senior Sales Executive who is now looking to take their first Sales Manager position.

Sales Manager Role

• To report to the Brand Director, you will be co-ordinating the daily activities of the Sales Executives
• To provide support, coaching and assistance to maximise sales volume and profitability being primarily responsible for achieving both chassis and F&I KPI’s

About You

Package

Basic Salary up to £35,000 – OTE £60,000
