Job summary

Jago Consultants is seeking an experienced Transaction Manager / Business Manager / Sales Controller for a busy franchised dealership near Guildford, Surrey. The role focuses on coordinating the Sales Executives and driving F&I profitability while upholding professional standards.

You will report to the General Sales Manager, coach the team, oversee enquiry management, and ensure accurate records of vehicle sales and finance transactions to meet targets. A driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sales Controller, Business Manager or Transaction Manager is ideal.
• Good working knowledge of car dealership finance processes and KPI management.
• To hold a valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily activities of the Sales Executives to maximise performance.
• Provide coaching and assistance to maximise sales volume and profitability.
• Oversee the enquiry management process and maintain records for sales and finance transactions.
• Promote a professional image of the dealership and maintain customer satisfaction standards.
• Involvement in vehicle part-exchange appraisals and sales deals, with attention to F&I functions.

Our client is a franchised dealership, who are seeking to recruit an experienced Transaction Manager / Business Manager / Sales Controller for their busy and thriving site.

Role – Sales Controller / Transaction Manager / Business Manager

Location – near Guildford in Surrey

Salary – 30k basic / OTE 50k plus

Transaction Manager Role

To report to the General Sales Manager, you will be co-ordinating the daily activities of the Sales Executives

To provide support, coaching and assistance to maximise sales volume and profitability being primarily responsible for achieving both chassis and F&I KPI's

To be experienced with all aspects of the F&I functions in order to maximise sales profitability

To oversee the enquiry management process

To promote at all times the professional image of the dealership and ensure that customer satisfaction standards are maintained

To maintain accurate and up to date records for vehicle sales and finance transactions to facilitate regular reviews of performance against targets.

To be involved in vehicle part-exchange appraisals / valuations, controlling and sales deals

As a Transaction Manager you will be:

• Experience of working as either Sales Controller, Business Manager or Transaction Manager is ideal


• To have a good working knowledge of Kerridge or an alternative DO training will be given to build on your existing knowledge of systems and to comply with FSA regulation


• To be self-motivated and have a strong desire to succeed.


• To have a positive, customer focused attitude and approach to your work


• Proven experience with strong exposure in selling, finance, invoicing, managing accounts, staff management and administrative duties.


• To have a valid driving licence
