Our Wealth and Personal Banking business supports millions of individuals, families, business owners, investors and entrepreneurs worldwide. We provide products and services that include current accounts, credit cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as savings, investments, insurance and wealth management. We also have specialised relationship managers who support customers with bespoke requirements, including high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth.

The primary objective of this role is to manage the entire lifecycle of all Capital Markets & Ultra Solutions Group Products (Structured Products, Equities, Fixed Income, Triple-I…) across the client continuum. The job holder also has responsibility for supporting the Wealth and Premier Solutions Financial Resource Plan (FRP) linked to the same product groups. Role holder must work in conjunction with the appropriate Product Owners and Heads of Distribution in WPB UK. In addition, they are required to ensure compliance of the product shelf to support the growth of the brand and reputation.

In this role, you will:
  • Deliver Capital Markets & Ultra Solutions Group product strategies to achieve financial & non-financial targets.
  • Conduct periodic market scan to understand needs of different customer groups to optimize the Capital Markets & Ultra Solutions Group product suites, whilst identifying product gaps and business opportunities in order to lead the market.
  • Ensure Capital Markets & Ultra Solutions Group products are launched timely and in line with relevant group policies, and that PIRs are conducted effectively after giving due consideration to relevant risks, competitiveness, and profitability, and at the same time alignment with current market environment and Global product strategies for WPB.
  • Liaise with Legal, Compliance, Marketing and Communications teams to deliver products within the regulatory framework and current HSBC Group and Local policies.
  • Driving projects in response to market changes and opportunities and in line with HSBC UK and Group strategy.
  • Ensure close connection between market trends and customer needs and ultimately business strategy.
  • Support a culture of excellence in product lifecycle management and in the development of customer centric solutions and products, ensuring delivery of good customer outcomes.
  • Work with a multifaceted matrix of mutually valuable internal and external relationships i.e. Propositions, Distribution, Direct Channels, Treasury, GAM, Global WPS, Finance, Compliance, Service Delivery, Software Delivery, Legal, Group/Regional/Country leads, Regulators, Audit, FCC, Consumer Intelligence, Third Party Fund/Discretionary Managers, and external Vendors in order to strengthen the existing relationship and grow revenue.
