Overview

We are seeking an experienced Capacity Planning Manager to join a growing contact centre and operations team. This is a pivotal role in analysing business forecasts, aligning resources, and ensuring operational efficiency while supporting strategic objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Analyse business forecasts and operational trends to assess current and future capacity requirements.
  • Develop and refine planning models that improve resource utilisation and efficiency.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align capacity strategies with business objectives and operational realities.
  • Lead regular planning meetings and present KPIs, driving transparency and informed decision-making.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Lead, develop, and guide a small capacity planning team.
Qualifications
  • A degree or equivalent qualification in business, operations, or a related field (or relevant practical experience).
  • Substantial experience in capacity planning, ideally with leadership responsibilities.
  • Strong knowledge of planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, or similar, along with advanced Excel proficiency.
  • Proven analytical ability to interpret data and lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies (advantageous but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present clear reports and forecasts to senior stakeholders.
  • Understanding of industry regulations and compliance standards related to capacity planning.
Hours and Salary
  • Monday to Friday – 39.5 hours – flexible start time
  • 25 days holiday plus banks
  • Onsite working with possible hybrid option after 3-6 months
