A prominent healthcare provider is looking for a Band 5 Registered Nurse for the Pembrokeshire Haematology and Oncology Day Unit at Withybush General Hospital. This part-time role (22.5 hours/week) covers maternity leave for 12 months. Applicants should possess a degree in nursing and current NMC registration, with a passion for oncology care being essential. Welsh language skills are desirable. Salary ranges from £31,516 to £38,364 per annum pro rata.

Cancer Nursing is an exciting and expanding speciality within Hywel Dda University Health Board and an opportunity has arisen for a Band 5 Registered Nurse to work in the specialised and rewarding area of the Pembrokeshire Haematology and Oncology Day Unit (PHODU) at Withybush General Hospital, Haverfordwest.
We are looking for highly motivated individuals, with a passion to work in oncology, to join our nursing team at Pembrokeshire Haematology and Oncology Day Unit. PHODU is a busy and ever changing challenging environment where Systemic Anti Cancer Treatment is delivered to both, Oncology and Haematology patients.
The successful Registered Nurse will need to demonstrate a flexible approach to working by providing safe, individualised and effective standards of care. This is a part time role, 22.5 hours/week, to cover maternity leave for 12 months and will provide an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in cannulation, phlebotomy, central lines management and safe administration of SACT.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
