Job title: Marketing Campaign Planning Manager

Business Area: Asset Management

Reporting to: Head of Planning & Production

Who we’re looking for

An accomplished senior marketing professional with experience in asset or wealth management industries, specializing in campaign and project planning, budget management, and resource capacity planning.

Candidates must have strong recent experience of in overseeing multiple end-to-end marketing campaigns & projects simultaneously and significant proficiency in using project management and campaign delivery digital platforms including web-based CMS systems. They will have strong interpersonal skills, having experience working across a large matrix organisation. Leadership experience is crucial, as the role involves fostering collaboration across regions, and bringing together colleagues from across the various marketing disciplines.

The team

The Planning and Production team is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns and projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives and regional needs. We are also responsible for the creative production workflow and collaborating cross-department for campaign performance reporting. We are a high-performing team, encouraging a collaborative and agile culture.

What you’ll do
  • Own the planning and roll-out schedules of key central campaign and projects.
  • Work with the Head of Planning and Production to assign resource and maintain quality standards across all activity.
  • Organise campaign production squads by prioritising resources and manage the overall budget of each major campaign/project.
  • Work closely with the other CoEs and marketing colleagues based in our global regions to ensure alignment with local goals and seasonal factors.
  • Standardise planning workflows, including leading the campaign briefing process, ensuring clear and structured briefs for the Marketing Campaign Production Managers.
  • Act as a leader within the Marketing Planning & Production team.
  • Manage cross-team collaboration and stakeholder relationships, ensuring campaigns meet regulatory, legal, and risk requirements.
  • Monitor campaign performance, track KPIs, and lead campaign planning, budget management, and resource utilisation to maximize campaign effectiveness.
The knowledge, experience and qualifications that will help
  • 5-7 years in roles planning and managing end-to-end marketing campaigns and projects, particularly focusing on campaign delivery strategy, resource allocation, and execution across multiple channels. B2B marketing experience is preferential.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, with the ability to report and provide commentary on major expenditure.
  • Ability to use data and analytics to drive marketing decisions, optimise campaign performance, and track KPIs against campaign objectives.
  • Exposure to working on global or multi-regional campaigns is important, as the role involves adapting campaigns to different markets and collaborating across geographies.
  • Proven ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and regional hubs.
  • Experience in the asset and wealth management sector would be valuable.
  • A proficient understanding of digital marketing strategies and platforms including CMS.
  • Relevant qualifications would include Marketing and/or management degree. Professional certifications such as the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), Digital Marketing Institute (DMI), or Project Management Professional (PMP).
