Job summary

A mental health service provider in Brompton is looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist to join the Medway CAMHS team starting from April 2026. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and treating various mental health disorders in children and young people. • Registered with GMC and licensed to practice.
• On the GMC Specialist Register or nearing completion of CCT in psychiatry.
• Approved Clinician status or eligibility to achieve.

Responsibilities

• Act autonomously and be accountable for own actions.
• Develop care plans to meet complex needs of patients.
• Initiate referrals to specialist services.

Skills

Excellent clinical skills

Excellent oral and written communication skills in English

Experience in managing patients from different cultural backgrounds

Education

MB BS or equivalent medical qualification

Fully registered with the GMC with a Licence to Practice
