A regional mental health NHS Trust is seeking a qualified Mental Health Nurse to provide assessments and evidence-based interventions for children and young people. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on mental health care for youth with complex issues. Ideal candidates will have professional registration and 18 months of post-qualifying experience. The role offers a supportive environment for continued professional development.
The team is multi-disciplinary and provides mental health assessments, treatment and interventions for young people suffering from moderate to severe complex emotional, behavioural and psychological issues. This CAMHS team is comprised of clinicians from Nursing, Psychology and Social Work backgrounds, enabling us to deliver holistic mental health care to children and young people. The successful applicant will work with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide assessments and interventions to children, young people and families, and will receive ongoing support through supervision and talent management.
