About the role

The team is multi-disciplinary and provides mental health assessments, treatment and interventions for young people suffering from moderate to severe complex emotional, behavioural and psychological issues. This CAMHS team is comprised of clinicians from Nursing, Psychology and Social Work backgrounds, enabling us to deliver holistic mental health care to children and young people. The successful applicant will work with the multidisciplinary team (MDT) to provide assessments and interventions to children, young people and families, and will receive ongoing support through supervision and talent management.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct mental health assessments and deliver evidence‑based interventions and therapies to children and young people.
  • Collaborate with the MDT to support children and young people and their families.
  • Provide ongoing support to the successful applicant through supervision and talent management.
  • Develop your knowledge and skills, contributing to service improvement.
Qualifications
  • Professional registration in Child, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing.
  • 18 months post‑qualifying experience, including sign‑off of appropriate preceptorship or competency framework.
  • Motivated, resilient, passionate about working with this client group and able to handle a demanding but rewarding role.
